found us on the west coast in Sarasota celebrating Japan.  We decorated fans, learned Kumihimo, Furoshiki and Amigurumi.  Along with spinning silk hankies, using a distaff, and color in spinning for the spinners.  For the knitters we had dying yarn for socks and speeding up your knitting using the norwegian purl method. 

2008 

Back on Cocoa Beach we learned to make a wrist distaff, do card weaving, about color in spinning, drafting and plying techniques, and sweater recycling.

 

 Year 4 2007

Back to the beach—Cocoa Beach we learned about getting published, making torchon lace, kumihimo on a card, and hairpin lace.

 

And the group project continued, adding more knitters.

Year 3 2006

Back in Orlando we began a group knitting project, learned tatting, kumihimo, broomstick lace, polymer clay buttons, cable basics, wire wrapping and jewelry finishing

Year 1 2004

An idea blossomed beginning in about May, discussed on Newgroups-word of mouth brought together about 75 fiber fanatics on St Augustine Beach in between two hurricanes.

We learned how to decorate our flip flops with fun fur, about rainbow solar dying, knitting with beads and knitting  boards
